Angry Problem with brakes in '05 3i... Please Help!!

Guys. The other day i was driving the 3 with the windows down and no music. As im riding around i hear some type of rattling noise under the car. So when i got home i got under the car and i notice the scrape guard under engine compartment's bracket popped out, so i put it back in and went to drive again to see if that was the problem. No luck. It Still rattles.

What i did notice was that when i hit the brakes it wont rattle but it will when i release them. Obviously it has something to do with the front brakes and i can hear that its on my side(the left). I got under the car once again to check around the left wheel and couldnt see anything wrong. Anybody have a clue what might be causing this.

**Its not really a continuous rattle but every 5-7 seconds it will rattle and stop.

pull your wheels off and check your caliper and mounting bracket bolts.they could be loose.while your in there, check the brake pad clips too
