R&R rear upper control arm

Has anyone removed the right rear upper control arm? The bolt is blocked by what appears to be a black control box attached by a wire connector and hose. It's mounted on a bracket by 3 screws (none of which you can get to) and the bracket is held on by a small bolt, also not reachable with tools due to fuel tubes being in the way.

Any tips would be appreciated.

The correct, easiest, way to do this is to drop the rear subframe. If you have a shop do the work they will do it that way...

If you do it yourself, there is a way to cheat: http://krystmsgarage.com/?p=287

Thanks! This is very helpful. I was going to get back to this project sooner or later and really take the time to look at possible paths to take.
