Sound in the wheels when I turn!
Hi there- I own a 2004 Mazda 3.
I just had the rear breaks and calipers replaced a coupld of months ago.
I've started to hear sound from what sounds like the wheels when I turn left or right, a kind of whurling or knocking sound.
I can't think of what this could be and I haven't been able to take it in yet.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Now is the sound just when you turn the wheel? I assume you mean when driving and turn left or right.
A whirr sound could be bearings, which can be identified if it's worse with a left or right turn.
Does it change / go away when you accelerate or brake during the turn?
If there's a knocking sound, check the CV boots, if there is any grease around the boot may have a hole in it - causing the grease to fly out - causing noise in the CV joint. If it is recent you can just replace the boots and you'll be fine, if they stay unlubed for a while it eats up the joint and you need a new half shaft.
