Stock Wheel size, lug pattern and offset

Mazda 3 Tire & Rim Specs
This is all the info I have gathered so far. Please feel free to correct or add.
Stock 16" or 17" rims are 6.5" wide with 52.5mm offset
Bolt Pattern is 5x114.3 (5x4.5)
215/45/17 Tires (205/50/17 Stock) should fit on stock 17x6.5" rims.
These configurations should work.
7.0" rim = ~ 46mm offset
7.5" rim = ~ 40mm offset
8.0" rim = ~ 36mm offset
225/45/17 Tires need at least a 7" rim.
17" x 7.0" ~ 45mm offset with 215/45 R17 works.
17" x 7.0" ~ 45mm offset with 225/45 R17 works.
18" X 7.5" ~ 42mm offset with 225/40/R18 works.
I am going to get the Moda R6 with a Kuhmo 225/45/17 like I had on my 2001 VW GTI.
Anyone interested in some stock 17's?

Thanks for the reply. I'm supposed to pick up my mica black 3s on Friday.
I'm thinking about the gunmetal kosei's they have on Tirerack. Only 13 lbs!
Kinda sucks 215 45s bring down the diameter so much. I would prefer them over the 225s. For what I'm going to do with this car 215 is plenty of width.
By the way, do you know if there are any rubbing issues with the 225s? Do you plan on lowering yours?
