Question Tire Selection

So I was at the dealer, getting my 3 serviced and they said that all four tires are shot and I need to replace them and get an alignment ASAP. The stock/ factory tires were toyo Tire and I really liked them, but I owned a truck before, I don't know much about car tires, what brands and models are best? Cost really isn't an issue, but my 3i only has the 15in steel wheels unfortunately. (I'm looking into finding some alloys)

there is a tire review thread around here somewhere (I'm too lazy to find it right now). Should tell you a good bit about what members of the community use.

Are you looking for an all season tire, or do you swap tires seasonally?

I checked out that thread and I've been shopping around. Does anyone know how Goodyear eagle with response edge are? and I do need all seasons, I live in New England, however I tend to get more rain and slush than snow where I live.

falcon 912's i have them on my car now and love them...completely predictable in the rain and dry and if you do ever break traction i have found it really easy to controll with these tires and regain very quickly...

go with the asx's or the 912s like josh said...i work for a sears autocenter and those are two of the best allseason's imo... dont go with the goodyear..trust me you will regret it

White08hatch is an unknown quantity at this point
If you want a tire that is gonna last stay away from the Goodyears!! The 912's are a good choice and so are the Yokohama YK520's. Both have good all season tread and perfomance/handling. I am probably going to get the 912's when I upgrade to 18s next year. The yoks have a 60k warranty too!!

I ditched the Goodyear Oems for Continental Pro Contacts and like them very much, though they do wear...( I drive around 35,000 miles a year.

Being a Central New Yorker, I highly reccommend a set of Blizzaks for the winter.
