They aren't bad lookin wheels. My sister's eclipse (2000 GT) had those wheels, but they were really weird.. they were like.. two pieces. When she bought the car (with 5k miles) they were really curbed already, so the wheel repair shop like.. cut the wheels and replaced the rim instead of just fixing the curbing.

I'll see if I can find a pic

here they are: see they kinda look like the same wheels but they are two pieces:

I think those would look good, for $150 you can't go wrong.

Probably not. I think they have 215/50-17 tires on them, what is your tire size?

tirerack.com has a rolling diameter calculator ... use it to see if you speedo will change. I'm sure it will a bit, but probably not more than a few %.

or use this: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

edit: if they come with tires, and they are the stock size, they are only 0.5" taller than your stock tires.

1.9% slow speedo reading, so when the speedo says 60, you're going 61.2.

they didnt come with tires what do you reccomend i love driving the mtn roads so i need a tire with good cornering as well as good rain traction i could almost care less about snow traction just good wet and dry traction in corners?? i was thinking a 225/40/17.... what do you think...what is the widest tire i can put on it the rim is 17" x 6.5"

Well 215/50-17 is damn close to your stock 195/65-15 size, being off by 1.9% isn't bad. On a 6.5" wheel I wouldn't go much father than 215, but ask around and see what Mazda3s guys put on their stock wheels (I think they are 17x6.5 as well).

I'd do 205's or 215's ... gotta remember the wider you go the worse your mileage is likely going to be.

It's not that significant.. I get 34-36 (highway obviously) on my summer 215s and my winter 195s.

Well 215/50-17 is closer to your stock size than either of those. Both of those sizes are smaller than your stock tires.

Ok I checked again.. 215/40-17 is closer to your stock size, but since you are going to bigger wheels and lower profile tires, it'll make the car look higher, so I definitely recommend the 215/50-17.

When it says 60, you're going 61.2
