2010 Mazda3 with 43,940kms
Hi there! New to your forum and hoping someone may have some insight to my car problems.
My car is out of warranty since February of this year.
On May 25th at 42,798 kms I went in a the check engine light went on. Brought it to the dealership and they said it read codes of P0128 & P2183. Said I also had an unrelated recall that I have yet to be advised of for my engine harness. All in all that cost me $510.04.
3 days later at 42,883 my engine light came on again. This time they said they needed to update my computer. No charge.
Last week my engine light came on again - this time at 43,940 kms they are saying it's codes P2188; P2196: P2178 and my engine mount is separated and leaking hydraulic fluid.. This now is going to cost me another $531.00 for 3 sensors plus another diagnostic charge of $109.00. They will contact Mazda re the engine mount as it may be covered under the 5 year powertrain warranty.
Am I being taken for a ride here? I barely drive this car. Very low mileage just for city driving. After the repair in May I went to Ottawa on the longest it's ever been driven and the engine light went on while I was going there.
I hate car problems - are these really normal issues?
Thank you for taking the time to read my message.
