its a straight shot. i used a ohm meter and stuck one end of the meter in the end of the harness. then i stabbed the wire about 6 inches away. youll be able to find witch wire is bad. i think it was always the the ones in the center of the harness. my was breaking cause my motor mount was bad and it was letting the engine rock back to far causing the wire to bend and break. you might wanna aslo check yours

so i carefully cut the wire loom and tape from around the mafs and the harness it connects into i wiggled some wires the brown and light green (i think
it would be terminal a in this picture) http://www.mazdaclub.net/mz3ws/esico...018840W06.html
that wire and that one seemed to make it idle rough but that one dosent connect to the ait sensor

the surging and lurching problem went away but now the battery light just stays on and the same code came up and the p2229 barometer high came up erased the codes the ait came back up so im outta ideas

hahahah the dealer is a joke the senior tech was the biggest belly buster of them all, i told him everything i pointed and held the 2 wires that you can wiggle to get the open and to cause the problem oh so you dont know what wire it is thats gonna cost you 4 hours labor its gonna be 437 and change when it takes all of 5 mins to unplug the computer and check this wire pin to pin cus all the covers are already off

so i am in dire need of a pinout and a wiring diagram to fix this thing
