Alarm Beeping & Indicators Flashing
Hi,
I noticed my Mazda3 2.0 Sport this morning whilst locked was beeping and the indicators flashing. I thought perhaps someone had bumped into it but there was no visible damage. I unlocked and relocked the door with the remote and about five minutes later it started beeping again. I unlocked it with the remote and left it unlocked. After another five minutes it started beeping again. This time I put the key in the ignition, turned it and checked to ensure all windows were up. I then ensured all doors were fully closed. Again after five minutes the alarm went off. This time, I turned the engine over and let it idle for five minutes. Fortunately the problem appears to have disappeared. I have locked the car and for the last two hours no issue.
I am wondering though if this is an indication of a fault or something that may reoccur soon (probably at 3am). Anyone experienced this before?
Thanks,
GJ

Found and answer
If the beeping occurs only when the car is keyless, and the the while dash it's flashing it's probably a simple burnt light bulb on the glove box. Read it somewhere and voila, problem solved, just replace the little light bulb (need to take apart the whole glove box) and the beeping and flashing disappear.
