Any experiences w/remote car starters?

With these cold winter months , I've considered a remote car starte, but have been leery to modify stock wiring. Has anyone had any experiences they would like to share?

I just install a computar 2 way starter/alarm and it is working great. so far so good. I installed it after 1 week of getting the car, I have to admit it take a long time to finish the job. My buddy did most of the install and we didn't finish till 3am, but we didn't start till 8.

good luck with the system. It is a wonder when you lived up north

Check with your dealer. I was there yesterday and picked up a '05 Mazda3 brochure and it was listed as an option.

We did one in a friend civic...its not as bad as one would think. As long as you have a test light, some basic handtools, a wiring diagram for the car and a basic knowledge of how an electrical system functions, its a peice of cake...just time consuming.
