CD Changer spitting out all my cds.

CD Changer spitting out all my cds.
My CD changer keeps tweaking out and spitting out all of my CDs. It has happened once before but after I put in a new burnt CD today it's doing it a lot more. I've had burned CDs in before and they worked just fine, but now it's done it at least 6-7 times today. It happens at random times. Sometimes when I change tracks, in the middle of the song (during multiple songs), and once when I turned the car on. Any ideas? I'm hoping it's just the CD so I'll try making another copy.

I had the exact same problem. I have the 6 disc changer with the bose system in an '06 Mazda 3 and every now and then it would say that it was reading the disc, then spit the cd back out. It got progressively worse until it got to where i couldn't listen to any cd's for longer than 1 minute before they were spit back out at me. Sometimes it wouldn't read regular cd's either.
I was still under warranty so I took it in to my dealer and they took a look at it. They said it worked fine, but that in cold weather these disc changers don't work well. They showed me that you have to let the car warm up, (and here's the trick) let the cd itself warm up, to have it work sometimes. The mechanic looked at me and told me that he would love to give me a new disc changer, but it was working every time for him.
Then I put in one of my cd's and it didn't work, and he said that it was because it was a burned cd. He said that this player did not like burned cd's and in fact it could become damaged after playing them.
I took my car home and ever since those tips the cd player has been working great. IT sucks *** though, because most of the cd's i want to listen to are burned cd's. I might eventually put in my own aftermarket head unit. But for now, i have to play by the rules.
Hope this helps.

Ok, that sounds like it makes sense now. I'm dealing with pretty low temps in the Midwest rigt now and it sucks. It's working better now.
I didn't know burned cds were bad for the player either. It it for all of the 6 disc ones? Or maybe just the bose ones? (I don't know if the bose systems have different players.) Do you know how it's bad for the player or what it will do?

No clue. I don't know if they're different with the bose systems. I also don't know if its different for 6 disc players, also don't know how it affects the players. All i can tell you is that my player is working better now that i am waiting for things to warm up and not using burned cds.
