I threw a CEL the other day and got to moving some sensors around and a few hours later it went off. Then a few days later another CEL came on. And this morning when I left to go to wal mart it was off again. It under warranty still and I plan on getting it looked at monday but I was wondering if any of you guys had an idea what it was

 

The check engine light came up for a second time yesterday. The first time it came up I went to the dealer and they found nothing wrong, it was raining hard that day so they say it was probably the humidity. This time the light came up for 3 hours and the roads were dry. In Both happened after a 2.5 hour long drive. I don't know what could be wrong. the engine is not overheating fluids level are ok, oil change has been done 2000 km ago.Anyone else with this problem?

 

I took mine in at 2900 miles, they replaced an emissions valve and returned the car to me on a friday. that sunday the light was back on, i took the car back, they kept the car 3 days with no answer. finally through some connections in mazda or something the mechanic replaced the fuel pump and the light has been off since (im at 7700 miles now).
the car didnt do anything different when the light came on, no noise, nothing. i suggest you take it back everytime the light comes on, whether they tell you its humidity or not. that seems strange.

 

When you take your 3 to the dealer because of a CEL, insist that they show you the report with codes and explanations. It seems garages prefer to replace parts under warranty than find and fix the problem.

 

yea mine started coming on whenever it started getting real cold down here then now its off when it was on i got it read and it said my regulating temperature was below normal temp but now its ok...nothin that big
