Civic's driving ability is better than mazda3 because it has VSC?
This is the question i have in my mind and it hard to believe as true. Because I saw somebody that really freak about civic car post message that claim "civic is even better than mazda 3 in term of driving ability cause civic has VSC system"....... Is that true? Comparing between civic that has VSC and mazda 3 without VSC (all model of mazda 3 in my country don't equip with driving assistance system).
For Japanese car that selling at the same range of price, I take civic as king of speed by its V-tec engine while mazda 3 as queen of curve cause it has very impressive driving ability, when compare to the cars in same price range that selling in my country (civic, mazda3, lancer, ford focus, toyota altis, and chevrolet optra). As each car has different good point, I'm totally feel rediculous when somebody insist that civic possess all of the good points that other cars have....From the information I know so far at lease 2 of magazine's car tester in my country (but work for different magazine) even claim that this mazda 3 make him feel like driving the "front drivetrain BMW" if it were exist. Mazda is like the Japanese BMW. But too bad no one ever seriously compare how good civic can do in curve when compare with mazda3.
Have you guys ever try to figure this out? It will be great if someone share me your road experience. Thanks in advance

vehicle stability control... the GT has DSC that along with the fairly common brake assist and electronic force distribution deal. I'm not too impressed with the DSC feature, though it does work when you're braking if you have front push (like if there's snow) there is nothing to correct your turn unless you use the e-brake manually.
Normal driving this makes no difference at all. Concerning drivability, the 3 has no torque steer that I noticed, though the steering does get super stiff when flooring it - could be how they got rid of torque steer for all I know.
