First off, they can't by law here in California. The burden of proof is on them.

While on the subject of proof, be sure to remove the negative wire from the terminal at the battery to discharge the NV RAM in the computer. This will remove the stateful information stored there and you'll return to factory default.

Further, I'm sorry there are some people who live in areas where Mazda has such an easy time ignoring your claims by pointing to the actions of others. My suggestion is to move to America where your warranty that you purchased is actually worth something.

PS: Leave the battery disconnected for an hour or so just to play it safe.

get the AEM bypass valve. i thing sports car compact did a review on it. the guy who invented it submitted his NSX to test it out. they dipped the WHOLE filter inside the water

u really dont need a bypass valve for the 3 unless u are really parinoid or live in places where it "floods" alot...not just rains but floods..... its pretty unlikely that u will get water in ur engine.

When it rains heavy in California it floods as we are ill prepared for above average rain. Mind you, when I say average I mean California average, the kind of rain most areas would view as a drought. ;P

Never the less, I wonder how misting effects the intake even in light conditions. Sure there is a filter, but what happens when the filter become saturated and in effect helps re-mist the water into vapor. It has to have some impact, at least after the car's engine is shut down.

This might be an age old question, but I can never find anyone who has tested a CAI system independently. AEM's site states gains as 6.5 hp, and 10 ft/lbs which sounds great, but a little high. Has anyone done their own dyno testing, and if so, what are realistic expectations?
