Disabling automatic door relocking?
I have a 2007 Mazda 3, and I'm being annoyed by a feature that automatically locks the doors 30 seconds after unlocking them with the remote starter.
I can see how this might be useful, but it doesn't work in the way I thought it would or the way other people say it does. It will relock the doors after 30 seconds even if the door has been opened, even if the interior unlock switch has been pressed, and even if the key is in the ignition.
I'm worried that if I'm careless for a second, I could easily lock my keys in the vehicle.
I haven't heard of any way to disable this feature. Can it be done?
