Ebrake not engaging after new caliper installed
Hello,
This is my first post on this website and I am the new owner of a 2005 Mazda 3.
I changed out the rear brake pads, and the drivers rear caliper because it had seized. I bled all four corners extremely well. My issue is the e-brake cable is moving on both sides when I pull on the handbrake, but the driver's side caliper is not engaging.
I double checked the caliper slides, and made sure they were tight, then a 1/4 turn loose. I made sure the ebrake cable was seated properly. I have no idea what is going on because the e-brake cable seems to be fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
