Electric???
Hi guys,
I owned a 2005 Mazda 3 and happy with it until a month ago.
My first problem when I am on the highway and push the gas for more power the AC light goes off and starts getting hot air for a few seconds, then it turns on again with cold air. Took it to the dealer and they said its normal and can't find anything wrong.
Now it does the same thing at 30 and 40 miles per hour.
Last night comming home I was getting to a corner where I had to turn, let the gas go so it will slow down and the RPM indicator started to jump up to 3000 rpms and down with out a reason.
Has this happened to somebody else? I think it might be an electrical problem.
Any ideas?

im not sure i dont have AC! but.. it could be that when you step on the gas it needs to use the power from the AC(which takes some engine power to run) and it need the cold air to keep the engine cool..
im not sure about the rpms though

Throttle temporarily shuts off the A/C compressor
Heavy throttle causes the A/C compressor to turn off temporarily on lots of cars. Should come right back on when you let up. Is yours shutting off even with light throttle? The revving thing sounds like you do have a problem -- maybe the device that adds a little throttle when the compressor is on is revving the engine because the compressor is actually not on when it is supposed to be?
