Engine stall while driving
Hey all, I'm new here. I'm having a problem with my 2011 Mazda 3 S. In a period of 2 weeks, my car has stalled twice while just driving about normally.
The first time was at about 7:30 pm about 2 weeks ago and it was about about 75-80 outside. I was going about 35-40 and it just completely stalled out. There was no noise like the engine ticking or anything of the sort. I just pulled over into the parking lot, put it in park, and it started up again with no problem.
The second time occurred at about 6 am and the temp was around 65 outdoors. I was going 35 again, and again the same thing happened. Luckily I was able to coast to the red light, put it in park, and start the engine again, without a problem.
The car has about 15200 miles on it, and I keep regular maintenance, always change oil at the proper time, and make sure my fluids are at the proper level. (In fact, I just changed the oil a week ago at 15000...the problem first happened on the old oil)
I do drive the car in pretty hot weather on a daily basis (temps here in GA frequently break 100.)
Anyone have any idea what the problem is? The car is running great otherwise...

Super long-shot here, but do you have any idea what fixed this? I'm having the same exact issue with my '11 3 S. Was driving about 35-40 and the engine cut out. Electronics were still all good, and I was able to coast to a stop, park it, crank it, and get going again.
