Factory HeadUnit RCA outputs

Hi Everyone,

I have a question about the factory head unit in my Madza 3. Does the factory headunit have RCA connects or outputs built-in to it because I would like to replace my door speakers with better ones and run them off my PPI amp?

Also, for those of you who have replaced the factory Headunit were there any problems or issuses with that. (EX. clock not work in the stock location).

Thanks for you help

There are no outputs on the 3s headunit...your only options are to use a line converter, or replace the headunit. I would go with the line converter as replacing the headunit means you lose your 6 disc changer(if you opted for it), your clock, and your steering wheel controls. With a GOOD quality line converter, you wont notice the difference between it and RCA outputs.
