A few questions on shuting off My Speed3

I asked the sales guy if I needed a turbo timer for proper shut off for prolonging the life of the turbo. He said no. Now on a couple long drives i've shut the car off and then heard a fan run for about 30seconds. Is that taking care of the turbo?

I'm wanting to know if there is a proper way to shut the car off this is my first Turbo car. And my favorite car i've ever owned I dont want anything happening to it!

What you don't want to do with any turbo is drive it like stink and then immediately shut it off without waiting for a 30-second cooldown. As long as I've been easy on it for about a minute prior to shutdown, I don't wait to shut it down. The owner's manual gives pretty much the same instructions.

I've been to busy cruising around town to get the manual out LOL!

I haven't really been to hard on the car at with breaking it in and all.

Thanks for the tip
