Exclamation Fuel effective!!!

Is mazda 3 fuel effective? I have a 2007 model and its giving me 7 kms per liter. I maintain a permissible air pressure of 35 at any given point of time. How do u think I can improve it. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated

Ouch, my Protege gives at least 10km/L in city, and much more on highway.

Maybe you have to stop hammering the gas, haha.

I can convert it to the stupid american measurement system, all I need is how many KM you go and how many litres you have to fill up after going that number of miles.

MPGs

I don't know about liters/km, but in MPGs I would say I get about 28 mpgs around town (i.e. short distance, lots of stop-n-go type stuff), and around 38 highway mpgs (we're talking nothin' but highway for the duration of the tank). It usually averages out between 29 and 32 MPGs depending on my week.

Compared to the mileage I got on my '02 Dodge Stratus, I'm in heaven with my new '07 Mazda3.

4L = 1 gallon approx
6miles = 10 km appox

so 7km/l = 28km/gallon = 16.8 mpg

I'd say... jzoomer gets about 30 mpg, yours is almost half. Try running a bottle of fuel injector cleaner through a full tank first. Might help if it's just carboned up in there.

You dont have any check engine lights on do you?

32 psi for all 4 tires. I do 33 though, feels better imo. If it's brand new, maybe have the dealership have a look. Make sure no faulty plugs or misinstalled parts.

I get around 30mpg with my 05 5 door, 5 speed combined driving, and 36mpg (12.7442228 km/liter) with straight highway driving at 65 mph.
