I test drove a celica in 02 and was not really suprised by the power. I had a 94' turtle at the time (tercel) and the celica did not feel that much quicker. Go figure.

 

i have raced a few more celicas since then, and only one of them beat me, and he had a T-3 and a 50 shot.... its a good looking car, but im not impressed at all.

 

I ppwwwwwnned a modded Celica GT-S (2002-type gen ..intake, full exhaust.. yeah I talked to the guy after, he was shocked that he got beat by a mazda wagon).

stock, they're faster 0-60 and in the quarter mile than a Mazda3.. even though they only have as much torque as a 2.0 Mazda Protege :P

he was only shocked until he looked through the vent in my hood and saw my secret weapon :P
