Good/Bad experience purchasing your Mazda3?
Hi everyone,
I'm a sales rep in one of the Mazda dealerships in B.C.
In the one and a half year I've been here I've heard countless stories of how "unreasonable" and "uneducated" customers were, and these "unloyal" customers shopped us sales people without the tiniest bit of moral.
Dealership environment can get quite negative sometimes and I can't help but be affected on some days. I am a believer in selling relationships along with the products. This way I should make friends at the same time I'm selling a car, and friends send me referrals!
This seems like the perfect business module but this is not always the reality.
This is why I think it's so valuable to listen to the people on the other side of the negotiating table, and not the same old complaints from sales people.
What was your experience like when you bought your Mazda?
Were your sales rep genuine?
Did you make friends with your sales rep or he/she just used techniques straight from a can?
What can a salesperson do to give you a more enjoyable time purchasing a car?
It's gotta be more than price, as I'm probably the easiest guy to negotiate and a believer in making 20 slim deals than 10 fat deals. Because in theory I would have the same pay but 20 happy customers!
Thank you all for reading this, and hope to listen to your inputs!!
