leasing mazda 3
Hi i m new here and I have a couple questions
1.) I am looking to get my first car and is mazda 3 a good option
2.) If yes, I am trying to lease a mazda 3 4 doors for around 24 months, does anyone has a similar experience and know around what price would be good? Or is there any recommedation?
Thank you

As a former car salesman I would not recommend leasing a vehicle.
Leases are set-up so that you lose all equity you would normally have in a purchase situation. Your best bet is to buy the car outright. Pay as much as you can afford each month (every penny over applies directly to the principle). By doing this you can hopefully get out from being upside down in the car should you decide in 2 years you want something new. With leases they will charge you all sorts of usage fee's and overage fee's when you turn it in so it really isn't any cheaper over the 2 year period.
Go to the dealership, demand invoice on the car you want and get the lowest possible financing. I just got 4.9% (lowest anyone had on a new car). Whatever your payment is make sure you pay at least 5% more each month. For instance.... My wife's mustang was $326/month for 48months. We paid $340/month. The last 6-7 months we paid on that car our payment dropped each month because there was no principle left to pay on. We ended up paying off the last 3 payments in one check. It was only $14/month extra but it really helped.
