lowbeam headlight is out...

so the lowbeam headlight is out on the driver side...i tried replacing it myself but it seemed really difficult to release the headlamp spring. i'm not really mechanically inclined and got very frustrated after about 45 minutes of trying. am i attempting something that the dealership or garage should do? if so, what is the usual cost for something that seems so simple?

most good shops will swap out headlights for free. At least here they do. If it requires removing the housing and everything usually 10-15.

yeah its a pain to get them out and in. i have now mastered it since the drivers side goes out all the time. you think the drivers side is bad.....try doin the passengers side. now thats a pain....hope you dont have big hands. i usually scrape my hand up pretty good on the passenger side. either way....if you get it out...once you do...should be a piece of cake next time around.
