Mazda 3 Crank but no start
Hello, I purchased a 2006 Mazda 3 S hatchie 2.3l. It had a intermittent starting issue, when i would turn the car off or While trying to start the car the Fuel Line that goes straight into the injector rail kept popping off and spilling gas under the hood.
Extra note : The fuel line isnt the stock fuel line it is just a regular quarter inch fuel line with a hose clamp on both ends.
I checked the Fuel pressure by adding a pressure gauge in line. I got a constant 50-55 psi while idle for a good 20 mins. When i turned it off it seemed to keep all that pressure inside and slowly drop to about 10 - 20 psi after maybe (15-20 mins.)
Did this at night and it was cool out, not sure if that affected it in any way
The car seems to start when i turn the key and give it time to fill up injector rail, then i crank after maybe 5 seconds and it usually will start.
If anyone else has this issue or knows what could be wrong please help me find answers.
Thanks
