Air Conditioning has a TSB about a diffuser, i went and had it done and the car will condensate the dash now, so I am willing to bet that will help you out. As far as the transmission, i still have my issues with 3rd feeling rough and a RPM stutter at 3000 Rpm on acceleration.

The A/C problem is detailed in the AC thread on this site ... it should help your poor AC out ... the TSB A/C is a huge improvement.

--------------

As far as the stutter ... never experienced it.

My transmission does occasionally whine a tiny bit sometimes during slowish-off-the-line accelerations ... keeping an eye and ear on that sound that's for sure.

--------------

The only other issue that I am experiencing is a squeky front end ... they said it was the front stabilizer ... it iturned out to be loose strut mount bushings ... they fixed the squeak about 6 weeks ago ... but it is slowly returning. Very unimpressed that they found the problem and it is now returning.

More updates to follow ....

Word up.

Still a great car ...

our 3S hatch had a problem where in the morning (70* cold start up) it would clunk real hard switching from 1st to R. Other than that it was problem free..

p.s. ALL mazdas AC's suck.

werd on the A/C, it sucks. But who needs it anyway? It's just a power and fuel parasite.
