Mazda 3 Tail/Turn wiring harness?
Hey guys, I'm new here. Actually not even a Mazda owner. I'm building my Chevy Cavalier, and recently did a Sylvia S15 headlight conversion, and Mazda 3 tail light conversion.
for the tails i have the grey plastic clip for the actual bulbs, but I am in need of the actual harness' that clip into the bulbs. Does anyone happen to know where I can get these harness' or the part #'s for them so i can get them from a Mazda dealer?
Any help you can provide is very much appreciated!!
for anyone that is interested, here are a few pics of the tail conversion

oh wow, nice work on the conversion! Where in NY are you? I've seen quite a few heavily modded j-bodies rollin around in Rochester, definitely not any with Mazda3 taillights though.
Check www.onlinemazdaparts.com (mazdapart@gmail.com I think is the e-mail address) for the part you are looking for. I know on the Proteges the taillight harness is easily replaced (for example if I were to swap to JDM taillights, since they use a different number of bulbs) as it only goes about a foot down the wire bundle from the lights until it reaches a plug. I wouldn't imagine the part would be very expensive either.
You should have gotten the really nice looking full LED taillights (aftermarket, not the OEM LED taillights) offered for the 3. that would look hawt :P

^^^lol, ya i get that alot. the rear bumper is like a park bench it sits out so far, and it looked wierd with no spoiler, so that was the only one that fit the styling unfortunately. but thanks for the comment!!
i checked out that link, but couldnt find anything other than the bulbs.
anyone possibly know of another car that shares the same tail bulbs? if i remember right its the 7440 and 7443 bulbs.
thanks!

I think the Protege5 uses 7443 for turn signal and 7440 for tail/brake.
If you just send an e-mail to onlinemazdaparts Jason there will get back to you really quickly with the info you need. It isn't always easy to find the parts you need using the catalog on the site.
