Mazda 3 Whining noise?! beeping
Hi
I have a problem, recently bought a Mazda 3 build 08-2006.
1.6 liter hatchback, manual transmission. The Counter had 35.000 KM on it
From the first day, i hear a whining noise beeping (high frequency) when i drive on the highway between 110 - 160 km p/h. in the 5th gear.
Below 110km there is no noise, only between 110KM and up (didn't go further than 160km )
I went to the dealer, and after a few days they had an explanation, not a solution.
According to them it's a transmission noise, and Mazda Netherlands told them it's a product feature (I don't know the right english word for it) They claim it's normal and replacing the transmission would not resolve the problem, because it's in the product.
The noise is comming from the driverside, it seems to come from behind the pedals??
Now i'm curious if more people have the same problem????!!!!
I was told that only with a good hearing it is noticeable because of the high frequency tone.
Has anybody else this problem??? or a resolution??? can it be the transmission??
Thanks!!
