Mazda3 HID/Xenon

Hi all

Can any of you guys tell me if there is a big difference between the regular(halogen) lights and the HID/Xenon on the Mazda3? In other words... is it worth paying the extra $ for the HID?

thanks

i'd say it's not worth it. I've had both (regular bulbs on the 3 and HID's on the rx8)...The 3 headlights are VERY bright. Justdriving at night with them on makes everyone flash their brights at you. They light up the road very well.

The xenon's in the rx8 seemed dim to me but would light up the lines on the road better. I'd rather NOT have xenon's.

xenon lights nice but

i wouldnt make them a deal breaker on buying hte car or not. my new 2006 m3 5door gt has them..they are bright..but...i would have been fine with normal halogen.

It's worth it. Look into Prolumen HID.
www.thexenonstore.com <-- not our store.

I don't need the look. I want the light. Any suggestions on goodbright) halogen bulbs that won't burn my wires or connectors? I installed SilverStar on one of our cars and it seems to be brighter than regular halogen.

i'm installing some philips lights tonight (hopefully) - plan on taking before/during/after pictures

they are the philips Crystal Vision lights.

Snapped a couple of pictures last night (got to work and my floppy said it was messed up! could not get all the pics off of it)
