Mufflers!!
Hi y'all.. I recently got a Mazda 3 hatchback. I'm determined to learn my car inside and out.
Right now I'm desperately looking for a nice muffler.. I've had some suggestions of an Anza (?) and a Monsa, but I need some advice from true enthusiasts.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd really appreciate it <3

you need to avoid "fart can" mufflers and actually buy a performance exhaust.
I HIGHLY suggest the Borla catback for the 3S wagon...thats the one I'll be getting most likely and at $575 it's not too high but Borla has the best sounding exhausts in my opinion.

Current performence full cat back exhaust.
Draxas has a 2.5 inch catback with an optional high flow cat, 4inch tip. All T304 SS, mandrel bent. An optional straight pipe to remove 2nd cat is also available.
Magnaflow and VRS has a 2.25 inch catback system, mandrel bent, 4 inch tip
Borla has a 2.25 inch catback system with 3.5 inch tip. All T304 SS, mandrel bent.
Corksport has one with 2.4 inch pipping, which eliminates the 2nd cat, with a tip of 3.4 inch, also T304 SS
Do not settle anything other then mandrel bent. Prices varies for each system as gain will be similar from 5hp to 7hp. If you do'nt wnat the car to be too loud, keep the 2nd cat.

Read The One From Corksport. It Is Only Made For Racing So I Believe You Might Have A Hard Time Passing Emissions,at Least In Oregon. Anza And Monza's Are The Old School Resonators. I Used To Have A Set On My Old Dual Exhausted '78 Monte Carlo And They Sounded Sweet To My 18 Year Old Ears At The Time But Bang For The Buck With The Baddest Sound Around-go For The Borla.
