Need 4 Speed....stock
I am reletively new to the forun here so this may have been covered already. I was curious What everyone has had their 3 up to. I've got a 2.3 manual and only had the niggidies to get up to 110 mph. Seemed like it wanted to keep going but I had to drop out of warp!! Any one else as stupid as I ????

the mazda 3's (automatics at least are speed limited to 112mph. I'm not sure if this is the same for the 5spds.
in the 3rd gen proteges the automatic cars shut down at 110mph and the 5spds have gone upwards of 133mph before drag stopped them.

Had mine up to about 115 or so( S 2.3 5 speed)...jumped up their surprizingly quick too...as soon as it passes 90 it really takes off. I would imagine it would be good for quite a bit more if it had no governer. I think it kicks in at 120 and i backed off early.

I was wanting to find out for myself but only got to 110 (automatic) I guess 112 is ok but I'd kinda like to know what the beast will REALLY do, ya know?
The car feels REAL good at speed too, like it was meant to go fast.

well i've been making a couple calls about the top speed limiter (cause i had it done but really didnt know how they did it) and on japanese cars you can not take it out but wat you wat they do is buy a chip that is like 120 and they install it so that the car will ignore the limiter but thats all it does it would maybe give you a couple extra hp and more speed you are going to be able to reach the 140
