New Mazda 3 Owner

I just bought a new Mazda 3s Touring 5 Door automatic.

I had to go automatic for my wife but it is still a fun little car.
I have some questions. Is there any way to add XM to the stock stereo and have it look stock? It is Sirus ready but my wife and I like XM better than Sirus.
We want to add the IPod adapter. Does it install in the glove box? Can you still use the aux in?
A little extra performance would be nice. Is the K&N filter worth doing? How simple is it.
Eventually I will add some other mods like a cold air kit but honestly it is such a nice car as is I don't really want to change anything yet.

Welcome to the forum.
K&N drop-in filter is about as easy as you can get, but don't expect much, no matter what anyone tells you or what you read.

Well there is only so much a filter can do.

I don't expect much. I might wait until I need a new filter to do that upgrade. Right now I am just enjoying it as is.
My other car is a Dodge Intrepid so the improvement in handling and power is pretty good as is. Before that I owned a GTI and a Saab 9000 Turbo.
