new mazdaspeed3 tomorrow!

I can't wait to take delivery of my cosmic blue ms3 gt. haggled with several dealers but ended up with a dealer that had the color and option package i wanted.

i wasn't in the market for a car but a helpful soul slammed into my jeer cherokee totalling it so here i am. i haven't settled with insurance yet...i couldn't wait for the settlement to be complete.

I haven't driven a ms3 yet but based on all of the reviews i've read nobody has a bad thing to say about the car. Of course i'll drive it before i finalize the deal but i'm positive i'll be soon driving it like i stole it.

I sold my bmw m5 a year ago and thought i was done with performance cars...oops i'm back...

strange and confusing? how so? i like that it is exclusive to the ms3...it's more of a sleeper color yet has a sense of class about it. to me there was no other choice.

Ah, a fellow Marylander! My neighbor just picked up a MS3, too. Serious machinery.

The cosmic blue does give the MS3 a sleeper look. I like that. Now to go take the badge off the trunk.

If it was mine, I'd probably peel the side moldings off, get a set of lightweight 18s, and call it a day. Congrats on your purchases!

How do the badges and moldings come off? Is there a recommended method? On other vehicles I've heard (but never tried) using fishing line and a hair drier.

For the moldings, 3M products rule.

Get a good amount of Adhesive Cleaner in a sponge, and press it against the body just above the molding so it soaks into the adhesive. After a decent soak it'll peel off. Then use the 3M Stripe Off Wheel to safely remove any adhesive without damaging the paint. If there's any crap left on the paint, use a claybar to remove it before you wax.

It's a morning of work, but the sides will look nice and smooth when you're done.

I am into the fifth day of owning my MS3. Since I am in the break in period, I am being gentle. But damn, does this car move. I can't wait to have some fun with this car.
