Octane Level
#17
I have a friend who works in a racing shop with a dyno. They began occasionally noticing an ammonia odor and wondered where the hell it was coming from. Turns out that all the cars (and only the cars) with ammonia smelling exhaust were running Shell. Now those customers ask, "How the heck did you know I was running shell?"
Shell no mo for me!
P.S. I'm glad to see y'all finally agreed that there is no quality or purity difference between octane ratings of the same brand. Octane is a flame retardant. That 87 burns hotter and faster than 93... higher performance for our little low comp engines (I'm actually a P5 owner, just lurking in the 3 forum).
