I think it looks great! But specs are confusing .106.xx wheel base for sedan? Thats more than my 08 Mazda 6! Five door is shorter? What kind of hybrid is this , the lines between the 6 and 3 are getting blurred

I'll admit that it's starting to grow on me. For a while I felt that the arguable iconic look of the 3 had been compromised. I agree, the lines between the 3 and 6 are getting a little hazy, but I'd say that just like any other 3, it's a damn fine car to drive.

First week down with a 2014 pearl white I Touring sedan
I am back to the compact... Started with a 2002 Protege gave that to my daughter as her first car and upgraded to a 2005 Mazda 6 I. Just traded the 6 for the 2014 3.
I could have gotten a 2013 much cheaper, but I really hated the look. I really like the look of the new 3and 6.
First impressions one week in... I like it. It rides very smoothly, but the handling is still sharp. I am taking it easy as it only has about 250 miles on it. The 6 speed automatic, 2.0 liter got 31 mpg on the first fill up in combined driving. It should improve as it breaks in. I haven,t really tested the power yet, but it does seem pretty peppy.
A few impressions... Revs right at 2000 rpms at 70 mph... The side mirrors seem way to close, feel like they should be 4 or more inches further forward... There,s no warning alarm if you leave your headlights on (most every car I've had for the last 20 years have had that)... It is close in size to my old 6, but it feels small... but I prefer to my wife's 2009 Mazda 6 which feels much bigger than my old 6.

Great purchasejj
While breaking in your new car don't baby it all the time. Drive it like you would your M6 bring it up to 5K every so often getting onto the highway and passing. Then dump your oil early to get rid of any wear i.e. metal shavings during the 2nd month or 1,500 miles. We need pictures of the car. Have you added Tint to your windows?

It came with lifetime warranty tint from the dealer
Not exactly sure what that means as it doesn't look like there is any tint material on the window when you put it down some, but it definitely has a mild tint.

I've have family in Ft Lauderdale and Datona and they swear by adding tint for cooling in Florida. They also buy the best wet weather tires available due to the heaving rain that comes and goes. Really like that white!! If Mazda ever brings the diesel to the Mazda6 this coming year I may end up jumping from the 3 to a beautiful white Mazda 6 diesel.

Hi everyone! I'm new (or will be in January) to Mazda. I just ordered a 2014 Mazda 3 2.5L and I'm so excited. Waiting sucks! Lol I'm hoping this forum will be fun to talk with and learn all about Mazda from those that know.
