picked up my 3 today! ...a few Q's

i picked up my new mazda 3 5 door today. titanium gray with leather, abs, and an auto transmission. i go to school in orlando and I-4 makes you want to kill yourself when you are driving a stick.

i absolutely love the car though. it has 55 miles on it right now. the windows should be tinted real dark and a stubby antenna will be sitting on top of it by next week.

i have noticed that the A/C is a little weak. i do not know if the car has the diffuser that i read about on the forum. i plan on calling the dealership tomorrow about it.

someone also mentioned that i should have them fix the 3,000rpm studder. i have not noticed this studder yet. i was driving an 03' mazda 6 before this, and it had the same problem. maybe im just not noticing because its nothing new. i guess ill just look for it and then take it in to get fixed.

i posted this in the audio section, but it hasnt received any attention yet. the stock stereo in the 3 isnt that bad for a stock stereo, but i pla n on replacing everything. i have heard of dash kits for the 3, but i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for a dash kit and something to replace the audio screen with.

thank you very much.

congrats on the purchase.

I know nothing about stereo stuff so you're on your own there. My 2.3L 3S had no shutter and it was identical to the one you just described.

Angry I have the same problem

I have noticed that my Ac isn't as strong as strong as it could be. I have a couple TSB reports on the Ac.. And i believe its for the Ac not being as cold as it should be.. I live in Sacramento, Ca.. And it gets really Hot here. I NEED A GOOD AC!!

Ha ha...I tried to tell Matty (the guy above you) the same thing...but he wouldn't listen...I love my AC too. Take it back to Mazda and have them replace it for you...it's under the warranty.
Welcome to the site BTW!

Welcome to the forum, and I'll reiterate what Roddimus said:
Mazda has crappy AC, but I don't use it anyway.
The rest of the car, enjoy, it's one of the best.

#1....that's true..as I had to fix my HVAC when i first got it because it was all screwed up!

#2....Damn it I forgot about that...but girls usually get their way. Case in point your wifey...remember?
Otherwise, yep...I agree...Mazda will lie, cheat and steal in order to not give up the goods.

... so far they have glady repaired:

Front stabilizer links
Front strut Mounts/Bushings
