Hi,

I'm thinking of trading in my 04 4Runner for something more gas efficient, and I like the Mazda 3's, especially the hatchback. I test drove an 07 hatchback sport, 45,000 k with leather and a bose system. Liked it! Asking price was 15,888 not certified (which I'm not pleased about).


What do you think a fair price is? Also, I saw that the power steering for 07-08 is recalled. I don't know if it's been replaced yet, but I will definitley find out. If anyone out there has one of those years, have you seen many problems with your power steering pump?

Any advice on a potential purchase is appreciated. Thanks!

 

i've got an 07 built in feb - outside the recall date & have no issues with steering so far @ 45k miles
15,888 sounds high, check KBB.com
And I don't think the bose system adds anything to the stereo, I didn't get that option cause it needed the sunroof as a package, adding a few grand all together - horribly too expensive for not much gain (unless you want the sunroof).
