Rear Wiper Fuse Blowing

Rear Wiper Fuse Blowing
Had a heavy snow last week and my wipers came on when I started the car (had them on when I turned the car off). There was a pretty thick layer of snow on the rear window and the wiper moved it off without a problem. I turned off the rear wiper and then later in my drive the rear wiper and washer fluid motor would not work.
I've tried replacing the fuse 3 times and it blows as soon as I turn on the rear wiper. I'm assuming the rear wiper motor is fried, but would like your opinion before I rip apart my car this weekend and look for a new motor from the junk yard. Thanks in advance!
