seat removal?
I lost a fairly important ring while riding in my Mazda awhile ago. I have a suspicion it's underneath my passenger seat somewhere (or fell out when I was getting my car and has long since been pawned). I was wondering if anyone knew how to actually take out the passenger seat to do some thorough searching and how hard it actually is.
Thanks!
Thanks!

it's way easy - though unless it's IN the seat you shouldn't need to remove it as there's plenty of access space under the seat to look for dropped items.
I've got an 07 so needed to disconnect the battery since it's an in-seat airbag. The connector is a bit tricky, since it clips closed. You need to push in the clips and pull on a handle to disengage it if I recall correctly.
Then remove the 4 plastic covers on the seat bolts, use a wrench / socket (12 or 14mm) and lefty loosee.
Tip the seat forward and pull it out the door. Assemble in the reverseorder.
