Should I get a Mazda3 or keep me MP5?

Hi guys.... I haven't been on the forums for over 2 months because I had a death in the family, but when I came back to my home state (FL) I had a letter in the mail from my dealership and I needed to tell you what the letter said.
The letter stated that I was choosen out of a few people to take advantage of a one day sale at the biggest Mazda dealer in the world which is located in Longwood, FL.
The gave me a $7000 check toward my next new car and said that I can keep the same payment as I have now for my car toward a new or used car. There is no Interest, no down payment, no taxes, I don't even have to have a trade in.
I called the dealer and ask the finance department is this letter true. The woman that I spoke to said yes. I asked why and she said it was because of my outstanding maintenance service and good credit history that made me elegable out of the few. I wan't to take advantage of this deal. I own a 2002 Mazda Protege 5 automatic in black. I just got my 2002 MP5 in Febuary. I'll trade my car for a new car quick!
SO...... I wasn't sure what car to consider.
I need your help guys......
If they had a used WRX I would get that.
But I was really thinking of get a new Mazda 3 4 or 5 door.
So far I like the silver and the Grey.
What do yous guys think of this car? Any other recommendations?

Honestly man.....If you believe this to be true I have some swamp land in Arizona I'll sell you DIRT CHEAP...no interest, no payments for 90 days and no trade-in required.

If it's too good to be true, then it probably is...in this case it's a big fat scam. Keep your car and pay it off. Then keep it some more. They are great cars.

Ditto....

Bogus....just like the letter I got that people are looking for a car just like my 10 year old Miata....NOT!

The 3 is indeed an awesome car for the bucks, but the P5 ain't bad either.

hmmm

u know what? i had a 2002.5 mazda protege 5 in a black.. and i traded it in for a white Mazda 3... and it was a WAY WAY better trade... even though i had to pay then 2600$ extra to take my trade cus i still owed 11600 on the mp5. they would only give me 9k so my mp5... but it had very bad braking problems, a big long key mark on two doors, and other lil' minor stuff... i was paying 330 a month for the mp5 but now i'm paying 365$ a month for the mazda 3 and that's with the "GAP" now when they bring u into the financial thing at the end and try to sell u WARRANTIES, just act like u dont want anything, and that it is way over ur limit of spending... but do get the "GAP" it'll help out. he'll explain everything about it. but that's what i got, and i'm REALLY and still am excited about my mazda 3.. (until someone backed up into me and left a indention in my front bumper two days ago) still excited though
