Stock Tires/Performance Tires - Thoughts and Comments
#16
I've read good reviews on Michelin Pilot Sports - though the all-season one has, from what I've read, far superior tread life and doesn't compromise much in terms of performance compared to the summer ones. But they're expensive.
I've also read good reviews for the Kumho ASX (or soemthing like that) and that it probably is the best value/quality tire, though a few people at tire rack have mentionned the sidewall being soft and affecting high speed cornering.
BF Goodrickch G-Force KDW (new tread design) seems to be the highest "ranked" in its category on tirerack.com. Though, from the research I've done so far, when the time comes to replace the stock Goodyear's on the 3, I think I'm leaning towards Bridgestone Potenza RE750 tires - seem to have one of the longest tread lifes vs performance in it's category.
