well, you kind of have to wash and scrub your tires of dirt and grime with a brush before putting any kind of tire shine on the tires. Try it.... it works....

The trick is to spray it on let it dry, then was the car. then redo the tires. Don't wipe it off. It will look like glass. The only thing is it will sling it all over you car.

I think mine comes out good and I do wipe it down. Just enough to get the extra off.

I use the no touch stuff from turtle wax...wash the wheels and tires well with whatever you normally use, then just spray the stuff on and let it do its magic. Ive never had good luck with any kind of no touch stuff till i tried this...works great, lasts a long time and doesnt fling crap all over your car. Watch out though...it will stain your driveway!

I've had very good results with Meguiar's Hot Shine. It glosses up nice and does not spray up on the side of the car when you drive....and as Alex said, scrub the tires down first.

I've had very BAD results with Armor-All with my previous car so I would suggest staying away from that.

I dont' use it at all because I've heard most of that stuff dries out your sidewall and decreases the performance of the tire.

I've found a few sites that use all natural ingredients that don't harm the quality of the tire (ie, drying it out) but the products are 5x the cost of the armorall or others... so I just stay away from it.

Your right some do dry out the tires, if you don't use it all the time. As long as you keep them clean and shiny your ok.

I use Eagle One High Gloss Wet Look Tire shine. I apply it with the Eagle One Tire Wipes. It works fantastic for me. The shine stays on for longwer than other ones I've used.

For those of you that don't like your tire love flinging off all over your car try Shining Monkey's "no spitting" tire shine. In fact, try all of their products while you are at it!

I have tried several products over the years. Armor all tends to discolor plastic and rubber over time. I like "no touch tire car" spay in a bottle. Dont spray your rims. I also really like Meguiar's products. This spray can has an adjustable spray nozzle. Best product so far for me. Very wet look and a clean application.
