Total A/C Control = Gas Mileage Increase

I have a series of 13 photos that show, step-by-step, how to gain total control of your A/C system. It appears, however, that I can't attach my compressed file here. Go here to look at the photos online: http://community.webshots.com/album/410888634bzFimz

I yanked out my A/C fuse and put it in line with a switch that I mounted on the dash. When the switch is off the A/C cannot go on, despite any commands it may receive from the fan switch, or from the floor vent switch, or from the winshield wiper switch, or from the gas cap release switch, or whatever switches those coked-up engineers decided to tie our damn A/C system into.

Enjoy,
Dax Clark

Nice write-up. A lot of Mazda owners will thank you, as I imagine this mod would also work on the 3rd gen. It drives me crazy that the compressor comes on when I turn on the defroster.
Although Mazda isn't the only culprit, and it does clear the windshield much faster, I'd still like to have control over the compressor.
