Traction Control Lights

Traction Control Lights
Hi guys, I am just about to buy a mazda 3 but the dealer is currently repairing a traction control fault. He assures me that it is just a switch that needs replacing, however I am wary that it might run a little deeper. Could somebody that has a mazda 3 look at the traction control and Stability (ESP) lights and tell me if they should light up on start up or how I could get them to light up easily.
This would really be a massive help!
Thanks

All lights should come on with the ignition on. Once started, the DSC light should be off and turn on if you press the "dsc" button on the dash (left of the sterring column). You can also find a dirt road or wet road & peel out which should activate the traction control and flash the light when it's active.
While you are testing (if u do that) try the ABS as well, have to be on a slick or dirt road for it to be more easily tested.
