Wow... another proof why teens shouldn't drive fast cars - especially mazdaspeed3(the one on the picture looks like a speed - at least the wheel does)

Maybe so but I know I've made my mistakes and it's sad when it happens to any family.

ouch.

Lesson number one, if you think your kids are responsible, you're wrong. They aren't.

Get them a car with half that much power and they're a lot less likely to kill themselves with it.

That's very unfortunate. I've had my situations where I've almost killed myself in my car.

But honestly, kids shouldn't get vehicles that have so much power. I think a regular mazda has more than enough power for a kid that age. I couldn't image of trying to control a mazdaspeed when I was in high school.

But either way its an unfortunate accident. They had barely a chance to live their life.

Downloaded image an magnified it. Nope not a Speed3. Besides regardless of the type of car, they crossed over a double yellow. That's how they got into the accident to begin with.
Dumb mistake that unfortunatly took thier lives.

uh how can you be sure? The pics are terribly low res. All I can tell is it's a 10 spoke wheel like the stock speed3 wheel.

plus the car was COSMIC BLUE, did that colour come on other 3s yet?

look at the hood in the second pic (it's over near the hummer in the grass)

plus the 2.3 DISI turbo engine chillin on the truck in the second pic.

From what I've heard it's a speed.

Cosmic Blue Mica is available for the Speed3. After looking at the pics some more and trying to clear up the pics in photoshop, it looks more like the Speed3 wheel. Didn't notice the motor before. Good call. Still tragic accident though.
