Wet Floorboards.....
Hello All,
Anyone else having issues with interior leaks.?
After any rain I always find my passenger side front and rear wet. I haven't approached the dealer yet but wanted to know if anyone else has been having the same issue.
2004 Mazda 3 4 door
Thanks in advance...

Yea you need to stop using your blinkers and locate the leak. Try turning on your hazards and listen for any dripping inside the dash.
Alright, all jokes aside .. I will say I had a similar problem in my Protege5 about a month ago. I noticed it when I was going to car washes, as my passenger side would be completely wet on the inside!! But my leak was coming from the roof and dripping through the roof liner. Turned out to be a loose roof rack bolt that was letting water come through, but I don't think that's your problem.
Does it leak just on the front or in the back too?

in my wifes old sunfire we had a problem like that. but what the problem was is that we had a exhaust put on and the place that did the install put it on a lift and extended the lift too high resulting in the car being hit by some metal rafter and that caused the seal around the windows to bulge out just enough for a small leak..i didnt even know anything happened until i saw small scratches on the roof line.

It's your roof rack Kansei. I had the EXACT same problem this last fall/winter and I took off the roof rack rails and found a whole buncha openings. Mazda puts tar or some other nasty black substance to cover them, but I guess they pop out and fall through over time and create a nice big ol' opening for water to drip through. When it drips, it runs down the roof liner and down into the a-pillar, and then probably leaves your fog-light switch all wet and stuff too right?
So I filled the holes with silicone, ordered some filler strips (roof moldings) and sold the roof rack rails.
