Cosworth intake and turbos

check out the dynos on the lower part of the page.

http://focussport.com/turbocharger.htm

It doesn't look like the Cosworth intake does much for the turbo cars.

its HiBoost or die.

the focus kit uses a gt28 turbo, and makes a weak 190whp.

the hiboost kit uses a gt35 kit, and makes anywhere from 250whp at 8psi, to over 500whp at ~25psi with forged internals.

that focussport kit.. the 190hp one.. is without an intercooler entirely

not bad considering... plus that's 190hp on the 2.0, not the 2.3

what does this have to do with teh cosworth intake again?

Every customer car dyno chart that has a Cosworth intake listed makes 15-30 ft lbs. less than the cars that don't have it.

I'm using their intake manifold and it works beautifully... Not to mention looks awesome! ;-)
