IAT Sensor

Hey guys, were the hell is the IAT sensor on the mazda 3. I know it is near the intake hose, but there are two connections by the intake housing that i need to locate. Does anyone have a pic of the engine that they can just point an arrow to the IAT sensor? thanx guys

For a protege, it this:
It's the 2 wired plug thing coming out of the upper right side of the airbox. NOT the 3 wired rectangle on the intake tube between the air box and throttle body.

dunno if its the same for mazda3

might help, might not

For a 2.0L Protege

NOT a 1.6L...We have the IAT incorporated into the MAF

1.6L MAF and any Mazda3 MAF are interchangeable parts

Yes you have...the IAT sensor is incorporated into the MAF... the "5 wire thingie"..

btw IAT modding with a resistor is ******* useless....excuse my french.....you WONT get any horsepower out of it....
