Mazda 3 air filter
Hey all,
New to this club. My name is Marco, from the netherlands.
I own a 2004 mazda 3, 4-door model. 2 litre active edition.
Got a question for you guys.
I want to install an open air filter (just for the sound). But i am wondering if that can cause any troubles.
My previous car was a seat leon. I know that it had an air density sensor that could fail if you use an open air filter. It was caused by the oil which you use with the open air filter. The sensor got contaminated and failed.
So, you know if the mazda 2.0 litre engine has a sensor like this and will it fail with an open air filter installed?
Thank you for all of your thinkin.
Marco
